Whether you’re visiting the Lake Districts Ullswater area on holiday or fancy a one day multi activity adventure. Join us in a spectacular location for outdoor rock climbing, canoeing and lunch bushcraft style!
Experience one of the Lake District’s most scenic locations during a full day of outdoor activities based around Glenridding and Ullswater. Combining climbing, paddling and time spent exploring the shoreline, this adventure day offers a fantastic way to discover the area while learning new skills and enjoying the outdoors.
Your adventure begins with a guided rock climbing session on natural Lakeland rock. After meeting your instructor and receiving a full safety briefing, you’ll head to the climbing venue where you’ll learn key techniques, build confidence and tackle routes suited to your experience level. Beginners will receive plenty of coaching, while those with previous experience can further develop their skills.
Following the climbing session, the day continues on the water. Depending on the conditions and group preferences, you’ll paddle across sections of Ullswater by canoe or stand-up paddleboard, taking in the surrounding fells and shoreline scenery from a completely different perspective.
Partway through the journey, you’ll stop at a suitable location along the lakeshore for a relaxed bushcraft-style lunch break. This provides an opportunity to unwind, enjoy the surroundings and learn a little more about the natural environment before continuing your paddle and completing the day’s adventure.

Enjoy a multi activity adventure in the stunning area of Glenridding in the Lake District. All equipment will be provided, come with us for a day of adventure and wonder.
What to expect:
- All information provided prior to activity day
- Local qualified fun and knowledgeable instructors
- Equipment to fit all shapes and sizes including; wetsuits, Neoprene gloves & socks and changing robes
- Media taken of your experience
- Session debrief with hot drinks provided
What to bring:
- Sturdy trainers (Please no wetshoes or wellyboots)
- Swimwear to wear under provided wetsuit
- Suitable comfortable and warm clothing for after the activity
- Snacks, food and a warm or cold drink

What should I bring or need?
We appreciate it may be your first time taking part in an outdoor activity, which is why the information pack will detail everything we will supply such as all technical equipment, wetsuits, wet-socks etc and also suggest what you should bring and wear. Generally appropriate clothing for the weather that is for active participation

Upon booking we send you an information pack with everything you need and should expect from us. Which includes google maps and What3words links so that you know where to go for your great experince
