A little bit about us..

At Adventure Days, the team have experience of delivering a huge range of outdoor activities to many clients. We have had the pleasure of introducing amazing experiences to many people, such as students at schools, families and loved ones together to share in memorable experiences.

We also are really proud to work across the UK with small and large charities providing annual and one off events such as Charity Abseils, raising much needed funds.

Our Team

Adventure Days is run by a fantastic team of instructors, who have worked as well as gone on personal adventures with us for years. Using knowledgeable , local instructors, who are passionate about introducing people to the great outdoors, but also committed to providing a really great experiences.

Our team consist of freelance staff, who are hand picked up for each booking. All of our staff are fully trained, certified and current in what they deliver, holding relevant NGB, safeguarding and first aid certification. We regularly spend time with our staff team, providing CPD opportunities and actively involve them in shaping the business.

Innes MacDonald set up Adventure Days and has over 27 years of playing and delivering outdoor adventurous activities around the world and is based in the Lake District. He holds the Mountaineering and Climbing Instructor award ( MCI), Touring Leader, Winter Mountain Leader, ERCA High Ropes Instructor and Rescuer, IRATA Level 1. And is also a PPE Inspector and Technical Advisor for schools, climbing walls and outdoor centres.

Our goal is to make it easy for people of all ages and abilities to experience the beauty and excitement of the great outdoors. We offer a wide range of guided outdoor activities, including climbing, ghyll scrambling, walking, canoeing, target sports and more. Our experienced guides are dedicated to providing safe and enjoyable experiences for all our customers, making sure you get the best experience possible.

We want you to have the best possible experience you can and will always strive for this.
We travel across the UK, but have intimate knowledge of The Lake District and Yorkshire Dales
We cater for all ages, abilities, aspirations, diversities … and anything else you can throw at us!
We can bring the adventure to you! We have a fantastic number of mobile activities that are great for Events, Schools and Communities.
We operate all year round and can provide activities every single day of the year to those who wish it!

A little more about us..

Fully Insured and Risk Assessed

All our activities are risk assessed, which also go through extensive external review too. Fully insured for £10m Public Liability.

We also hold a AALA Licence to work with under 18’s in outdoor adventurous settings, and regularly carry out CPD with our staff teams.

We are care about where we work

Here at Adventure Days we not only want to offer fantastic experiences to as many people as possible, but we also would like to educate people about the environments we operate in.

We try to use local instructors, so they can transfer their passion for their local area to participants. Teaming up with organisations such as John Muir Trust, The British Mountaineering Council and Planet Patrol.

You will also see our instructor with litter pickers doing our bit to help protect the places we enjoy. Monthly we organise FREE Plant Patrol Canoe and SUP paddle trips for folk to enjoy the water but also do a small give back to nature too.
